[The last event left Cheyenne in a weird place and since then, she's been rather scarce around the village. Aside from getting food at one of the village restaurants, she's spent most of her time either in her apartment or in the forests just outside the village. Today, she's actually back to her usual spot: sitting on the edge of one of Luceti's many bridges, looking down at the water.]

[A few hours of this goes by until she finally opens her journal and poses a question to the residents. The very thing that's been on her mind all this time.]

It is not uncommon for others to ask questions using these journals, yes? [A pause. She wasn't really expecting an answer to that.]

...what do you think it means to be a "person"?

[Something strange is approaching. That is the only way Cheyenne can possibly thing to describe it. Three seemingly distinct souls standing together is if occupying the same space... she doesn't even have to turn her head to "see".]

[It takes a moment for her to realize she'd been spoken to.]

I have grown accustomed to sitting in such places as these. I am in no danger of falling, I assure you.

You have....? Well, that's good then. [Still a bit unsure, but she'll take her word for it. She'd hate to see a girl drown because of something as silly as this.] The rivers are quite deep here.

Yes, they are. [She leans forward a bit, as if looking down at the water despite her blindfold.]

There is much life living here below the surface. Although the rivers seem slightly less populated in the areas nearest the bridges, they are still rather interesting for me.

Of course. Water is filled with life, both animal and otherwise. [Aella will pause and lean against the bridge as well, looking down.]

And it is natural for places with humans to have less animal life. They are intelligent enough to avoid getting eaten, afterall.

Hm. Yet I have never seen a creature in the village attempt to disturb the creatures in the rivers. Not when food is so plentiful in the shops.

It is rather curious then, in a place like Luceti, how they developed such a fear.
