[Even in tense situations, Cheyenne was generally a very calm person. But the voice coming through the journals right now sounds very strained. There's a small cut on her cheek and a bit of blood on the other. She's trying to keep her voice steady, succeeding for the most part. But oddly enough, it doesn't sound like she's in pain. The way she's breathing and the manner she seems to be holding herself almost gives the impression that she's afraid of something.]

[But this was Cheyenne. That couldn't be it, right?]

I don't suppose... there are any healers in town willing to make house calls?

I had... an accident of sorts. [There's a sense of hesitance in her voice.] I believe I may have broken my wrist.

[And yes, Sanji's getting that same forced smile as everyone else.]

Not to worry! If you don't get enough healing, I can take you to my doctor Chopper. He's handled injuries like that before.

Presently I am only hoping I can be healed without the need to be touched.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't a magic spell that could handle that.

If it is not too much trouble, that would be preferable over walking into town later.

I suppose a light pasta or salad would be nice. I can't see myself feeling very hungry later, although I know I should eat something...

[To be fair, it's a little hard to think about food right now.]

It shouldn't take more than an hour for them to come and go. I imagine it would be preferable for you to come after I've been healed...

[She brings her good hand up to her cheek, pulling it away when he notices the blood there.]

[A pause. When she speaks, her voice voice uneasy, as it had when she made the initial entry.]

There is... one thing I may require some assistance with. [The smile slowly drops off her face, but she isn't aware of it.] Something I am unsure as to whether I will be able to clean myself.

[Which will equate to about an hour and a half, giving whoever is dropping by plenty of time. When Sanji arrives, he knocks first and then sticks his head through the door, calling off softly]

Cheyenne-chan?

[Hearing the door open, Cheyenne comes out from her room, having just finished changing into clothing that wasn't stained with blood. All her injuries were gone at this point, save for a small makeshift splint for her fingers.]

[And she seems far more calm than she did previously.]

[No blood? Check. Minimal injuries? Check? He relaxes and smiles, regaining some pep as he steps through the door]

Are you feeling any better~?

Yes, I'm feeling much better now. My hand is still a bit sore, but it is nothing I am incapable of dealing with.

[She probably knows enough filial magic to heal them up herself after a few days of gradual healing.]

I do hope it wasn't too much trouble coming down here. I know this particular building is rather out of the way from the rest of the village.

Oi, so long as Cheyenne-chan is well looked after, no distance is too great~! [Speaking of which, he has brought the promised salad and pasta, all wrapped neatly in a box for her eating pleasure.]

Shall I put your food in the fridge for you?

That would be best. I'm sure I'll find my appetite in the next few hours... [She starts walking towards the kitchen, opening the fridge herself and reaching out to an empty spot she already knows is there. She keeps her hand there until Sanji is close enough to see. Aside from a few containers of juice, the fridge is mostly full of containers of produce.]

If you put it here, I won't have to spend a few minutes guessing which container it's in.

[That earns a soft sigh of understanding; it makes sense there'd be nothing but produce in here. He puts the box on the spot she's indicated and steps back]

That's the one consistent thing about an appetite - it always comes back. [He's glancing around the apartment properly]

Say, Cheyenne-chan... did you still need me to help you with anything?

[Cheyenne lets the fridge door swing shut before turning her head up at Sanji.] There is still one thing I have yet to clean up, yes...

[Without another word she walks out of the kitchen and towards the hallway. However, she stops abruptly and turns towards Sanji again. Her expression had been rather neutral before, but now she had on that same forced smile from when she made that journal entry.]

...but before that, there is something I need to explain to you. Something I would not like for many people to know about.
