3rd l o s t s o u l ~ [Action]

[Cheyenne is lost. The whole village still looks weird and there are things all over the ground in the most inconvenient places. And although she feels quite indifferent about her costume for the most part, those high-heels have done nothing but gotten in her way with every step she takes. Literally, as a matter of fact. She was just on her way out when she stumbled on her feet, tripped on a pumpkin, and slammed into a wall. No real harm done, save for her bruised pride. Unfortunately, this habit of tripping is beginning to become more than just an occasional blunder: she's tripped at least 12 times since leaving her apartment.]

[As it stands now, she was just on her way back to community house 6 when, after spending more time watching the ground than counting the buildings as she walked by, she found herself in a section of town she couldn't immediately recognize. She even took a chance and peeked her eyes over the edge of her new red blindfold to see if she could more readily recognize the area. But really, without a point of reference, it was no use.]

[She soon gives up and decides to sit on the edge of one of the small bridges around town, dangling her feet over the edge just above the river and probably wishing she could just kick those awful shoes right into the water.]

[[ooc: If you haven't already done so, please check out Cheyenne's Permission Post! And as an extra side note, for the most part, she isn't going to be able to see anyone's costume. Unless it's something that completely changes their basic shape. And even then, she might assume that's how they look normally.]]

Yeah, this experiment would be a lot easier if we could take off the damn things. [clop clop clops his way to the bridge so he can lean on something]

Besides that, how is Cheyenne-chan doing?

Not surprised. [He gets up, still trying to get the water off of his glasses] Still. She is talking with me, which is a noted improvement.

Sorry again about the splash.

It is indeed, Cheyenne-chan~! [How can she see with that blind- nah. He shrugs and smiles before leaning down on her]

And a lovely costume for you too.
illusional: (How does I emotion?)

[personal profile] illusional 2010-10-28 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
Lovely? [She runs a hand over some of the ruffles in her skirt.] I would not know. I am merely glad it is not entirely uncomfortable... though I do wish I could say the same for these shoes.

[personal profile] generalflirt 2010-10-28 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
Eeeeh... the shoes do look pretty tough to walk with, don't they? But yes! Very lovely~ [And now he's going to crouch on down to be more level with her]
illusional: (What does that even mean...?)

[personal profile] illusional 2010-10-29 07:58 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. They are the only truly inconvenient part of this costume. I find I cannot help but trip over every little thing unless I am paying extra close attention to the ground. [Which is why she's lost right now, but she'll get to that later. Right now, Kida crouching down means that whatever the hell his costume is, it's now within arm's reach. Don't mind her, she'll just be reaching up and poking it a fit times.]

...what is this supposed to be, exactly?
illusional: (How does I emotion?)

[personal profile] illusional 2010-10-29 08:01 am (UTC)(link)
As I said before, seeing as it was just water, it is fine. Had you been attempting fire magic, I suppose I would have been a tad more upset. [Now there's an understatement. Then again, maybe not with her. A "little upset" goes a long way.]
illusional: (A rare smile.)

[personal profile] illusional 2010-10-29 08:04 am (UTC)(link)
I agree. No matter how many times I kicked off these shoes, they simply reappeared mid-step, and I tripped-up all over again.

Although I am doing quite well, current conditions aside. I've had a good amount of luck in finding volunteers to feed upon. I should not have to visit any one person more than once a month.

[He laughs nervously] Y-Yes, well. Won't be trying fire magic for a good long while, and certainly not under the bridge.

[identity profile] oda-hates-me.livejournal.com 2010-10-29 03:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Just as expected~! [He's honestly glad to hear she won't have any feeding problems now] Cheyenne-chan must be relieved~!
generalflirt: (Is sly look)

[personal profile] generalflirt 2010-10-30 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
Eeeh, that's a shame, Cheyenne-chan. Maybe I should carry you somewhere? [He says this slyly, perhaps trying to make her react beyond a lineface.] On the back of this ostrich!
illusional: (Oh how shocking! [/sarcasm])

[personal profile] illusional 2010-10-31 07:34 am (UTC)(link)
I can imagine as to why. Only the desert seems to be a safe place to practice such a magic... I believe it would be rather difficult to accidentally light sand on fire.
illusional: (Innocent until proven guilty.)

[personal profile] illusional 2010-10-31 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
[A pause. Is this relief...? Yes. That must be it.] I suppose that I am, yes.

Though I am still in disbelief over the lack of hostility I was met with. That is something to which I am still adjusting.
illusional: (:|)

[personal profile] illusional 2010-10-31 07:41 am (UTC)(link)
[Good luck, soldier, she has a lineface of steel. She does, however, tilt her head to the side.] Ostrich? I have never heard of such a thing.

However, I believe it would be best you do not attempt to carry me.

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-10-31 12:34 pm (UTC)(link)
At the very least, I know a friend who can teleport, so I won't have to walk that far.
illusional: (What does that even mean...?)

[personal profile] illusional 2010-10-31 12:37 pm (UTC)(link)
"Teleport"? [Tilts her head to the side.] Such a power truly exists?
consultmybooks: (Default)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-10-31 12:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, it does. Remarkably accurate, too - the last time I was teleported, the person doing so managed it to within a few feet.
illusional: (Innocent until proven guilty.)

[personal profile] illusional 2010-11-02 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
How mysterious. I have never heard of such a power outside the fairy tales I've heard in passing back in my previous world. Although, considering the sorts of creatures that exist in this village, I should not find it surprising to see such things here.
consultmybooks: (Default)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-11-02 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
You'll adjust to it.

How long have you been here?
illusional: (Oh how shocking! [/sarcasm])

[personal profile] illusional 2010-11-02 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
In two weeks time, I will have been here for two months.
consultmybooks: (Laughing in the Face of the Apocalypse)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-11-02 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
In one week's time, I will have been here for two months.

We must have arrived during the same cycle.
illusional: (:|)

[personal profile] illusional 2010-11-02 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
Is that so? I heard that a great many people arrived during that same cycle. I wonder if such a thing is meant to happen again soon.
consultmybooks: (Consult my Books)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-11-02 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
Apparently, we were the first in a long while. Who knows if the cycle will fix itself or continue as it has?
illusional: (How does I emotion?)

[personal profile] illusional 2010-11-02 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose that is something that remains to be seen. I would think it better that fewer people were brought here altogether. I can't imagine most creatures would enjoy being removed from their home world.
consultmybooks: (Neither amused nor impressed)

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-11-02 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
I certainly don't. But no one asked me.
